Do you sell gift vouchers?
Yes all our vouchers are on sale here https://vouchers.resdiary.com/64Degrees1
Where is the nearest car park?
There is The Lanes Car Park which you can access on Black Lion Street, and if you’re lucky there is limited on-street parking nearby which is free after 8pm.
How far are you from the railway station?
We are a 10 minute walk from Brighton Station – just walk towards the seafront until you reach Duke Street, turn left and walk until you join Ship Street, which you follow and fork left onto Prince Albert Street, we are then four doors north of Caffe Nero.
Where’s the closest bus stop?
We are a two minute walk from North Street and five minutes from Churchill Square where almost every bus in the city runs through.
Where is the nearest taxi rank?
We are a two minute walk from a big taxi rank on East Street
Can we come early for our table and have a drink?
Unfortunately not due to the small size of the restaurant. We are right in the centre of Brighton though and there are several pubs and bars within a minute’s walk from us.
Do you allow children?
Children under the age of 16 are welcome in the restaurant until 9pm (in accordance with our licence) to enjoy the tasting menu. Due to the small size of the restaurant we are unable to have buggies on the floor, but we do have a cloak room we can put fold-up ones in and we have one highchair if needed. However we don’t offer a children’s menu – please see our sister restaurant, Murmur, for child-friendly options.
Do you allow dogs?
Unfortunately, due to the small space and open kitchen we do not allow dogs in the restaurant (our sister restaurant Murmur does though!)
Do you have wheelchair access?
Because we are a listed building we have not been able to remove the step leading to the restaurant. There is also a small step in the restaurant on the way to the toilet too. We have accommodated guests in wheelchairs in the past though, please contact us via phone or email if you do have any special access needs.
What is your largest party size?
Due to the size and layout of the restaurant the maximum group size we can accommodate is four people (please see details for large groups for exclusive hire below though).
Is all your produce local?
While we will always aim to buy from nearby farms and businesses, quality will always trump locality – so if a superior product is available from slightly further afield we will opt for that.
Do you offer the restaurant for exclusive hire?
We do! We can create a bespoke lunch or dinner for you based on the needs of your group. The maximum capacity is 20 people, with half the seating at the pass and the other half at tables. The cost varies depending on the day – please email us for more information. (Please note that due to Coronavirus we are not taking group bookings at this time).
Do you cater for dietary requirements and allergies ?
Unfortunately we do not cater for all dietary requirements and allergies. Due to the tiny size of our kitchen and style of the menu we cannot cater for all so if you have any specific dietary requirements please email us before making the booking.
What is your Cancellation Policy?
We politely request credit card details to secure a booking.
The deposit is taken to protect us from no shows and last minute cancellation. We are a tiny 20 cover restaurant and during this challenging financial time every single table matters and we ask our customers to be respectful and give as much notice as possible when your plans change. There is a £50 per person no-show charge. This is in place to protect our staff and suppliers and to enable us to continue operating as a small independent business.
